Are you feeling disconnected from the world, your loved ones, and even yourself? Are you finding yourself questioning your self-worth? You likely want to feel self-confident, fulfilled, and balanced. You want to feel understood, supported and loved in your relationships, but you feel unsure how to get started.
I will work collaboratively with you to better understand the difficulties you are facing, while also growing your innate self-healing abilities. I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and deep curiosity so with time you feel safe and connected to me. Through a relational psychodynamic and trauma-sensitive lens, we will understand how your early experiences brought you to where you are today. We can get to the root of the patterns that have been keeping you stuck. Together, by exploring your attachments, relationships, and past experiences, you will gain greater clarity. I tailor my approach by incorporating a variety of modalities including psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, partner/family relational problems, and bereavement.
I believe we all have what it takes to heal, but sometimes we need a helping hand to reach our fullest potential in feeling balanced, interconnected, and overall feeling better. We will create a space tailored to fit your needs and goals in order to connect you with your true self, and to create meaningful sustained change.
A little bit about me: I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fordham University and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from New York University. In my free time, I love traveling, reading, catching up on the latest fashion and beauty trends, and spending time with my partner, family, friends, and chinchilla.
